Ziplining was a hit last year so we’re doing it again. Please take note of the waiver and minor (if under 18) forms that are required in order to participate. Participants must weigh between 75 and 250 pounds and will be in groups of 7 students and 1 adult. Tennis or hiking shoes are required – flip flops, slip on shoes, or open toe sandals are not permitted. There is a maximum of 54 participants so please register early.

In addition to ziplining there will also be other lower cost or free activities but you will still need to submit registration forms in order to participate. See the full schedule of activities in the student packet.


We’ll be taking buses to the zipline activity so it will be important to pre-register so we can ensure there are enough seats. It’s easier for us and less time at registration for you if you send in your registration in advance.

There are no late registration fees, however we have a maximum of 54 participants for the zipline activity so please register early.

Please send payment for activities only when you pre-register. You pay for housing and meals separately when arriving at Family Camp to register. You will also need $5 for a key deposit if staying in a dorm room. If you’re staying in a dorm or apartment don’t forget to bring your own bedding (pillows, sheets, blankets).

Registration time is Wednesday, July 12th from 2:00 – 4:00 in the Prince Student Union. We will also be available for a short time before and after the evening services in the chapel office should you arrive later in the week.

We have received questions in the past about age limits. The NYI Family Camp activities are for those who have just completed grades 7-12 in 2016-2017 school year. Sorry, but we are unable to make exceptions on age limits.

All registration forms are located on the NCO District website @ Copies of medical insurance cards are no longer required.


Sponsors will be selected based on when applications are received, whether they meet the desired requirements, and past experience as a sponsor if applicable. If selected as a sponsor the District will cover all expenses (dorm housing, meals, and activities) for the duration you are supervising your students.

Those not selected are still welcome to attend, however you or your church will need to pay for your housing, meals, and activities. Since adults will be staying in the dorm with students each church should plan to send a male adult to stay with male students and a female adult for female students. Churches are welcome to arrange to supervise each other’s students if they are unable to supply enough male/female adults independently. We will try to connect you with an adult from another church if needed.
