ministry assessment

All local and district licensed ministers must complete the Beginning the Journey: Ministry Assessment.

As you journey on the path toward ordination, we would like to invite you to attend the “Beginning the Journey: Ministry Assessment Center”, an event designed to support those called to vocational ministry.  We continue to receive great feedback on the value and importance of this event from those who are called into ministry – over 145 candidates (plus spouses) have gone through the NCO assessment!  

We are anticipating a large number of participants and are planning
two one-day events in 2024:

•              Friday, January 19, 2024 (Mansfield Heart City)

•              Saturday, January 20, 2024 (Mansfield Heart City)

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED; as of 11/14/2023 all spaces are filled.

If you would like to attend, please contact the district office to confirm your intent and send your deposit to secure your spot!

A $50 non-refundable deposit is due no later than November 15; all materials and remaining balance are due by January 1.

The event will run from 9:00a.m. until approximately 7:00p.m.  The format and individual approach make it necessary to limit the number of participants. This event is required prior to applying for a district license (or prior to applying for ordination for those who already have a district license.)

​

The total cost for the assessment is $75 per couple ($50 per single adult). A $50 non-refundable deposit due November 15 (mail to the below address or pay at www.ncodistrict.org/giving). The remaining balance and all materials are due January 1.
